My (Terrible) English Accent

Today I took a test that one of my Facebook friend shared on Facebook 'Games With Words: Which English?'. Basically they will guess your English dialect and your native language based on your answer on the grammatical/language questions.

Try here http://www.gameswithwords.org/WhichEnglish/

What bother me is the fact that they guessed my dialect as Singaporean. True, I speak terrrrrrrible English in a strange accent that often associated with Singlish. But I guess I just can't escape from it. How can, when I'm always talking English to Malaysian and Singaporean ever since I learned the language.

I say oso instead of also, tok'h instead of talk.
I add what in the end of the sentence. "I messaged them but they never reply what"
I overused 'right'. "I think, right, this one cannot lah"
I love lah, ah, eh and how can. "Eh you decide already ah? How can never tell?"
I say "Ok can" instead of just OK, or can. "Oh put there ah? Ok can"

Don't get me wrong, I really love Singlish (and I keep watching videos in Singlish) but the fact that I always fail my English grammar and often times I cannot differ standard English with informal English is just annoying. Not to mention that my friends call my accent as 'Upin Ipin' accent.

And you know what the worst part is? I laugh whenever I heard people talking in Singlish outside Singapore - just because it reminds me of myself -_-
